The Virgin Queen - a review unworthy of the ABC on prime timeTV

How about moral dilemma for the old reactionaries of the 60's. Do they really still believe freedom comes from doing what you feel like ? Have they not moved on ? have they not become parents themselves? as in previous dilemmas indicate they/we seem to find ourselves thinking just like our parents “‘ but are afraid to talk and act like them . A generation of wooses and reactionaries ?

On another level the censorship continues .
I am agast at the revisionist junk often served up on ABTV about historical women and their worlds -eg Victorian ones and those who make the choice to wait for things . Their reputation is being abused – The ABCTV Sunday review of Elizabeth 1

They and our parents had fun, but somehow we are not allowed to talk about it.
Many revisionist pieces incl the one on Elizabeth on sunday nights some months ago, was plain abuse of people whose choices were not the ones promoted ad infinitum through abcchurch and beyond.
.The advantage of radio is you can't use pictures to abuse someone - In that one dimensional review of the queen , e never smiled ( she was a virgin after all --and they can't have fun?) ) ----- whatever brilliant humour realism and attitude her popular reign clearly encouraged.
Mcluhan would be agast too, I am sure, that abuse of the memory of one wonderful , warm and real leader still occurs ! You owe it to young people to offer them the choice we had?
